How it works

One data model, four tiers, and a build that assumes bad internet.

The platform is not a bundle of separate products with an export button between them. It is one shared data model with modules layered on top, which is why a mark captured by a teacher is already on the report card, and an absence already sits behind the SMS to a guardian.

One shared data model

Learners, guardians, staff, academic years, grades and subjects are core entities every module reads from. Nothing is re-entered, and nothing goes out of sync, because there is only one copy.

Your school’s data is your school’s alone

Every record carries the school it belongs to, and row-level security in the database enforces it as a second line of defence. One school’s data is never reachable from another’s — not even by a platform administrator’s query.

Built for the connection you actually have

The daily register and the timetable are cached on the device. A teacher marks attendance with no signal, and it syncs when the connection returns. Pages are built to load on 3G, and SMS backs up every critical notification.

Nine roles, permissions per module

Permissions are scoped by module and by action — a teacher sees the learners in their own classes, never the full school roll, and a subject teacher cannot open a counselling note. Individual permissions can be granted or revoked per person.

Every sensitive change is on the record

Changes to sensitive tables are written to an immutable audit log with the actor, the timestamp and a before-and-after snapshot, kept for seven years. Financial records are never edited in place — corrections are reversal entries.

Your curriculum, pre-loaded

A school picks its curriculum at sign-up and the platform seeds the grades, subjects, assessment weighting, grading scale and term structure that go with it. Nobody types a subject list from scratch, and nobody can misconfigure the weighting rules.

How it’s organised

Four tiers, one shared data model.

Schools subscribe to what they need. Every module reads and writes through the same shared services, so nothing is ever re-entered twice.

Tier 1 — Core Foundation

Included with every school. The record everything else is built on.

Tier 2 — Operations & Revenue

Run the business of the school — money, people and assessment.

Tier 3 — Wellbeing & Learning

Look after the whole learner, not just their marks.

Tier 4 — Enrichment

Campus life, facilities and governance.

Getting started

From sign-up to a marked register.

  1. 01

    Register your school

Choose your country, your level of education, your curriculum and your package. Your school gets its own address and its principal account.

  2. 02

    Your curriculum arrives ready

Grades, subjects, assessment weighting, grading scale, terms and the public-holiday calendar are seeded from the curriculum pack you chose.

  3. 03

    Bring your learners across

Import your existing learner list from a spreadsheet, link guardians, and set up your classes and class teachers.

  4. 04

    Start with the register

Attendance on day one, guardians notified of unexcused absences automatically, and the rest of the modules switched on when you are ready for them.
